Ste Dinsdale holds an unbeaten professional record of 5-0. He trains out of the Next Generation MMA in Liverpool under the guidance of Paul Rimmer. Ste has always loved fighting; it was a part of growing up where he lived. As he got older he started training in Muay Thai as there were no MMA gyms in or around where he lived. From early on Ste planned to become a professional MMA fighter and he saw Muay Thai as a better starting point than boxing. As soon as a MMA gym opened up near him Ste got involved and started to learn the grappling side of the sport.
Cage Warriors 52 will mark the return to cage for Ste who has not fought in 11 months. The reason for the lay-off was because Dinsdale was a reserve for The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes Series. As a consequence Ste had to sign a voluntary suspension for the length of the show. Once the show concluded he has been ready to fight, but has encountered difficulty in finding opponents.
Not only will Cage Warriors 52 see his return to action it will also be Ste's debut fight on one of Europe's premier MMA promotions. "I'm excited," Ste told MMAMount. "I have wanted a bout on Cage Warriors for so long I just couldn't turn it down. Even with short notice,"
Dinsdale is taking this fight on 2 weeks notice. He is a late replacement to face the experience Bruno Carvalho. "I'm looking forward to fighting Bruno," Ste said. " I like a challenge. I have never been one to ask for easy opponents. Plus, I think a win will more than make up for the year I was out of action."
There is no doubt that a win of Carvalho, especially on two weeks notice, will significantly hence Dinsdales reputation and put him firmly on the UKMMA map. Furthermore, if you speak to those closest to Dinsdale you will soon realise that they are extremely confident that their man will get the job done on March 9th.
Cage Warriors 52 will take place on Saturday 9th March 2013 in London, UK and will be headlined by the Welterweight Title bout between Gael Grimaud and Cathal Pendred.
